APPLICATIONS: Downstream of control

The most common application for straight ceramic-lined pipe spools
is immediately downstream of a control valve. The pictures below
show a ball valve at 20% and 30% open. It is immediately apparent
that the media does not exit the valve perpendicular to the piping.
Even when the valve is open more than 50%, there will still be fluid
impinging upon the inside wall of the pipe. |
